Product Studio AI ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by Lexora Technologies. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Shopify application.

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use Product Studio AI, we collect:

• Store information: Your Shopify store domain, shop ID, and email address as provided through Shopify's authentication.
• Product data: Product images and titles that you select for image generation. We access this data only when you initiate a generation.
• Generated images: AI-generated images created through the app, which are stored in your Shopify Files library.
• Billing data: Subscription plan, credit balance, and transaction history. Payment processing is handled entirely by Shopify.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Generate AI product images based on your selections and prompts.
• Manage your subscription, credits, and billing through Shopify's Billing API.
• Save generated images to your Shopify store.
• Provide customer support when you contact us.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide image generation:

• OpenAI: Product images are sent to OpenAI's API for AI image generation (Standard tier).
• Google Gemini: Product images are sent to Google's Gemini API for AI image generation (Mid and Pro tiers).
• Gadget.dev: Our application backend is hosted on Gadget.dev.

These services process your product images only for the purpose of generating new images. We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• Generated images are stored in your Shopify Files library — you have full control over them.
• Generation history (metadata only — not the images themselves) is stored in our database to provide your generation history and credit tracking.
• If you uninstall the app, your generation history and credit records will be retained for 30 days in case you reinstall, after which they are permanently deleted.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. All communication between your browser, our servers, and third-party APIs is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS. We do not store your Shopify access tokens — authentication is managed by Gadget.dev's secure Shopify connection.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Request deletion of your data by contacting us or uninstalling the app.
• Delete individual generated images directly from your Shopify Files library at any time.

7. GDPR Compliance

We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks including customer data request, customer data erasure, and shop data erasure. When these requests are received, we process them in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
